Present needs of JPH :
- There is inflow of economically disadvantaged students-children of dry land farmers and famine-hit wanderers. JPH also have tribal children and street children. We need sponsors to take care of the expenses of these children. (Rs. 30 thousand per child per year)
- Quarters for staff members and menial workers : People come to Harali with families from different places at present there is no satisfactory residential arrangement for them. To accommodate at least 20 families we need to build quarters. The estimate is Rs. 80 lakhs.
- A 50 setter vehicle : A school bus like vehicle is a genuine need. JPH students come from surrounding villages. But proper transport facility is not available. To collect students and patients from the adjacent villages we need a 50 setter urgently. Approximate cost is Rs. 30 lakhs.
- The fences : The campus, particularly, the fruit orchards are not guarded. To build natural fences and barbed line wire fences at different places, the estimate is Rs. 25 lakhs.
- Work sheds : JPH runs a small fruit processing unit on home scale for village women and an IBT (Introduction to Basic Technology) course for senior students. Two work sheds for these two are required. Measurements are 1800 sq ft and 2000 sq ft respectively and estimates are Rs. 20 lakhs and Rs. 24 lakhs respectively.
- Workers’ welfare fund : JPH school is non-granted and it charges no fees to students. So the entire burden of teacher’s salaries and other school expenses is on JPH. As there is 35 acre horticulture, there are snake-bites and other accidents. Workers and students need medical assistance. To cover these expenses. JPH needs to create fund of Rs. 50 lakhs for that. Medical services : Our resident doctor runs OPDs in surrounding village and charges are just normal. Annual expenses on medical services are Rs. 15 lakhs.
- Alternative source of power i. e. solar power : Sixty acre campus with a residential school, fruit orchards, dispensaries, laboratories need at least 50 KG power. But the area has scanty and irregular supply from MSEB. To generate 50 kg solar power, the financial estimate is Rs. 2 crores.

- You can help the project development activities like Solar energy generation unit, workshop construction, training programs for farmers and training programs for rural women
- You can assist the medical services by offering help to run OPDs, health camps, to buy medical equipment.
- You may donate for a museum depicting the diversity of flora and fauna in Harali.
- There is Income-tax exemption to donors under section 80G of the IT Act.
- JPS and JPH are permitted to accept donations in foreign currency (FCRA)
Donation Appeal
Contributions made as donations to JPH can be claimed as a deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, Govt. of India. 50% of donated amount is eligible for tax exemptions.
