नमस्कार,
ज्ञान प्रबोधिनी स्पर्धा परीक्षा केंद्राच्या त्रिदशकपूर्ती निमित्त आपण आपले अधिकारी आणि इतर क्षेत्रात उत्तम काम करणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांचे Good Practices Document तयार करत आहोत.
पत्रकारिता हा लोकशाहीचा चौथा स्तंभ मानला जातो. नागरिकांपर्यंत योग्य व अचूक माहिती पोहोचवणे, तटस्थपणे घटनांचा अभ्यास करणे आणि त्यातून जनमत घडवणे ही तिची खरी ताकद आहे. मात्र आज काही प्रमाणात काही लोकांमुळे, माध्यमांमुळे या क्षेत्रावरील विश्वास काही अंशी डळमळीत झाला आहे. तरीही याच क्षेत्रात निष्ठेने, प्रामाणिकपणे काम करणारे अनेक पत्रकार आजही आहेत.
या लेखमालिकेतील पुढील लेख अशाच एका पत्रकाराच्या प्रवासावर आधारित आहे— श्री. अजय कौटिकवार.
केंद्राचे १९९९ तुकडीचे विद्यार्थी असलेल्या अजय यांनी अभ्यासकाळातील एका घटनेमुळे अभ्यासासोबत पर्यायी क्षेत्राचा मार्ग शोधला आणि प्रवास सुरु केला. पुढे जाऊन पर्यायी क्षेत्रच त्यांचे आवडीचे, उद्दिष्ट प्राप्तीसाठीचे कार्यक्षेत्र बनले. आज २५ वर्ष त्या क्षेत्रात काम करत एक संवेदनशील पत्रकार, प्रभावी मुलाखतकार, लेखक आणि मार्गदर्शक म्हणून ते ओळखले जातात. “उद्योजक कट्टा” हा लोकप्रिय कार्यक्रम असो वा मा. पंतप्रधान श्री. नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या भाषणांवर आधारित “सबका साथ, सबका विकास” हे पुस्तक असो. आपल्या कामातून त्यांनी एक तत्वनिष्ठ पत्रकार म्हणून ठसा उमटवला आहे.
त्यांचे अनुभव, त्यांचे कार्य आणि जीवनप्रवास आपण सर्वानी जरूर वाचावा, अनुभवावा असे आवाहन आणि शुभेच्छा!

On the occasion of the completion of three decades (Tridashakpurti) of the Jnana Prabodhini Competitive Examination Centre, we are preparing a Good Practices Document highlighting our officers and students who are doing exemplary work in various fields.
Journalism is considered the fourth pillar of democracy, as it informs citizens, objectively analyzes events, and helps shape public opinion. Although public trust in the media has weakened in some cases, many journalists continue to uphold integrity and professional ethics.
The next article in this series highlights the journey of one such journalist—Mr. Ajay Kautikwar, a student of the Centre’s 1999 batch.
An incident during his student days led him to explore journalism alongside his studies, which eventually became his chosen profession. With 25 years of experience, he is today known as a sensitive journalist, effective interviewer, writer, and mentor. Through initiatives like “Udyojak Katta” and the book “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, he has established himself as a principled journalist.
