नमस्कार,
ज्ञान प्रबोधिनी स्पर्धा परीक्षा केंद्राच्या त्रिदशकपूर्ती निमित्त आपण आपले अधिकारी आणि इतर क्षेत्रात उत्तम काम करणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांचे Good Practices Document तयार करत आहोत.
या मालिकेतील पुढील लेख एका अशा विद्यार्थ्याचा आहे, ज्यांचा मूळ कल आधी प्रशासकीय सेवेकडे नव्हताच. त्याचा कल सैन्यात जाण्याकडे होता. आणि आपल्या बुद्धीच्या जोरावर ते सैन्यातील तांत्रिक सेवेत रुजू सुद्धा झाले. पण हे कार्य बजावत असताना एका अपघातामुळे त्यांना लष्करी सेवेतून बाहेर पडावे लागले. पण या धक्क्याने डगमगून ना जाता त्यांनी प्रशासकीय सेवेचा मार्ग चोखाळला. घरातील जबाबदारी स्वीकारत, काम करत त्यांनी स्पर्धा परीक्षेची तयारी केली आणि पुन्हा आपल्या बुद्धीच्या, चिकाटीच्या जोरावर या क्षेत्रातही उत्तम यश मिळवले. आपले हे विद्यार्थी म्हणजे साल २००० च्या राज्य लोकसेवा आयोगातून प्रादेशिक परिवहन विभागात अधिकारी म्हणून निवड झालेले श्री अनिल पाटील.
श्री. अनिल यांचे सेवाक्षेत्र हे तसे अनेकदा चाकोरीबद्ध कामासाठी जाणले जाते. जिथे ठरलेली कामे असतात. पण श्री. अनिल यांचे काम हे या टिपणीला पूर्ण खोडून काढणारे आहे. आपल्या या सेवेत त्यांनी पुढाकार घेऊन अनेक नवीन धोरणं अंमलात आणली, कोविडच्या काळात ऑक्सिजन पुरवठ्यामधील अनेक महत्वाच्या जबाबदाऱ्या स्वीकारल्या आणि आपला कामाचा एक वेगळा ठसा उमटवला.
याबरोबरच अजून एक आनंदाची गोष्ट म्हणजे श्री. अनिल यांची कन्या अंकिता ही सुद्धा स्पर्धा परीक्षा केंद्राची विद्यार्थिनी आहे. तिने नुकतेच २०२५ च्या UPSC परीक्षेमध्ये भारतात १४० वा क्रमांक पटकावला आहे. एकाच घरातील दोन पिढ्या एका ठिकाणी शिकतात. यातून प्रबोधिनी हा फक्त एक वर्ग नसून आपलीशी वाटणारी एक संस्था आणि कुटुंब आहे याचा प्रत्येय येतो.
त्यांचे अनुभव, त्यांचे कार्य आणि जीवनप्रवास आपण सर्वानी जरूर वाचावा, अनुभवावा असे आवाहन आणि शुभेच्छा!

On the occasion of the completion of three decades (Tridashakpurti) of the Jnana Prabodhini Competitive Examination Centre, we are preparing a Good Practices Document highlighting our officers and students who are doing exemplary work in various fields.
This article highlights the journey of Mr. Anil Patil, who initially aspired to join the armed forces and successfully entered the military’s engineering services. However, after an unfortunate accident ended his military career, he chose a new path and turned to the civil services. While handling family responsibilities and working simultaneously, he prepared for competitive examinations and was selected as an officer in the Regional Transport Department through the Maharashtra State Public Service Commission in 2000.
During his service, he took several proactive initiatives, implemented new policies, and played an important role in oxygen supply management during the COVID period.
It is also a proud moment that his daughter Ankita, is also a student of JPCEC and has secured All India Rank 140 in the UPSC Examination 2025—reflecting how two generations from the same family have been associated with JPCEC and considers it as a family.
