नमस्कार,
ज्ञान प्रबोधिनी स्पर्धा परीक्षा केंद्राच्या त्रिदशकपूर्ती निमित्त आपण आपले अधिकारी आणि इतर क्षेत्रात उत्तम काम करणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांचे Good Practices Document तयार करत आहोत.
आज आपला ७६ वा प्रजासत्ताक दिन. आजूबाजूला सुरु असलेल्या जागतिक घडामोडींमुळे विकसित भारताच्या उद्दिष्टांना आव्हान देणारे वर्ष. आज आपल्यापैकी बहुतांश जणांनी कर्तव्य पथावरील शिस्तबद्ध संचलन, भारताचे सशस्त्र आणि ताकदवर सैन्यबळ, तंत्रज्ञान नक्कीच पहिले असणार. आपल्या पराक्रमाने आणि अदम्य साहसाने भारताला कायम सुरक्षित ठेवणारी ही सगळी ताकद जिचा आपल्या सर्वानाच आदर आणि अभिमान आहे.
या दृश्यमान ताकदीसोबतच भारताच्या सुरक्षिततेसाठी, बदलत्या जागतिक रचनेत भारताला सक्षम करण्यासाठी आणि विकसित व आत्मनिर्भर भारतासाठी पडद्यामागे अविरत काम करणारी आणखी एक महत्त्वाची ताकद आहे—ती म्हणजे भारतीय परराष्ट्र सेवा (IFS) . या सेवेतील अधिकारी व कर्मचारी कमी प्रसिद्धीत, मोठ्या त्यागातून राष्ट्रहितासाठी कार्यरत असतात.
आपला पुढील लेख हा याच सेवेतील एक धडाडीच्या अधिकाऱ्यावर आधारित आहे. ते अधिकारी म्हणजे सध्याचे तैपेई येथील भारताच्या कार्यालयाचे प्रमुख श्री. निनाद देशपांडे.
श्री. देशपांडे हे २००५ चे IFS अधिकारी. आपल्या आतापर्यंतच्या दोन दशकांच्या कारकिर्दीत त्यांनी चीन, बांगलादेश, सिंगापूर, स्वित्झर्लंड, जिनिव्हा येथे अनेक महत्वाचे उपक्रम आणि जबाबदाऱ्या सांभाळल्या आहेत. इतकेच नाही तर UN, WTO, UN Conference of Parties (COP), BRICS अशा अनेक महत्वाच्या संस्थांमध्ये भारताचे प्रतिनिधित्व देखील केले आहे.
त्यांचा हा सर्व प्रवास जितका , कुतूहल वाढवणारा आणि आनंद देणारा आहे तितकाच त्यांचा या सेवेत यायचा प्रवास सुद्धा रोचक आणि वेगळा आहे.
त्यांचे अनुभव, त्यांचे कार्य आणि जीवनप्रवास आपण सर्वानी जरूर वाचावा, अनुभवावा असे आवाहन…

On the occasion of the completion of three decades (Tridashakpurti) of the Jnana Prabodhini Competitive Examination Centre, we are preparing a Good Practices Document highlighting our officers and students who are doing exemplary work in various fields.
Today marks our 76th Republic Day. Amid evolving global developments, this year poses significant challenges to the vision of a Vikasit Bharat. Many of us would have watched the disciplined parade on Kartavya Path, showcasing India’s formidable armed forces and technological prowess—visible symbols of strength that inspire pride and respect.
Alongside this visible power exists another crucial force working quietly behind the scenes to safeguard India’s interests, strengthen its global standing, and contribute to a developed and self-reliant nation—the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). Its officers and staff serve the nation with dedication, often away from the public eye.
Our next article features one such dynamic officer—Shri Ninad Deshpande, currently the Head of the India Office in Taipei.
Ninad is a 2005-batch IFS officer, he has served in key roles across China, Bangladesh, Singapore, Switzerland, and Geneva, and has represented India at major international forums such as the UN, WTO, COP, and BRICS.
While his career is inspiring, his journey into the IFS is equally distinctive. We invite readers to explore and reflect upon his experiences and contributions.
