नमस्कार,
ज्ञान प्रबोधिनी स्पर्धा परीक्षा केंद्राच्या त्रिदशकपूर्ती निमित्त आपण आपले अधिकारी आणि इतर क्षेत्रात उत्तम काम करणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांचे Good Practices Document तयार करत आहोत.
आज आपण विकसित भारत या उद्देश्याने मार्गक्रमण करत आहोत. आणि त्या अनुषंगाने आपण आपल्या व्यावसायिक आणि व्यापाराच्या सीमा झपाट्याने विस्तारत आहोत. पण या सीमा विस्तारत असतानाच आपल्याला ड्रग्स, तस्करी, अनैतिक आणि बेकायदेशीर आयात-निर्यात अशा गंभीर प्रश्नांशी दोन हात करावे लागत आहेत . आणि ते करायला तसेच भारताचा व्यापार स्पर्धात्मक करायला अनेक सरकारी यंत्रणा अविरत काम करत आहेत. यातील एक म्हणजे उत्पादक शुल्क विभाग (Customs Department).
१९९९ मध्ये IRS (Customs & IT) या विभागात नियुक्त झालेले श्री. राहुल नांगरे यांच्या विषयी जाणून घेऊयात.
श्री. नांगरे यांनी मागील २५ + वर्षांच्या कारकिर्दीत अनेक महत्वाच्या जबाबदाऱ्या पार पाडल्या आहेत, अनेक आव्हानात्मक आणि जटील प्रश्न मार्गी लावले आहेत. आपल्या अभ्यासू वृत्तीने उत्तम धोरणात्मक योगदान आपल्या विभागाला दिले आहे. जिथे आज उत्पादक शुल्क अधिकाऱ्यांसोबत काम करायला लोकं चार हात लांब राहणे पसंत करतात, तिथे श्री. नांगरेंसारख्या अधिकाऱ्याशी लोकं सहज संवाद साधतात, आपल्या चुका कबूल करतात आणि दुरुस्ती सुद्धा करतात. हे त्यांच्या कामाचे वेगळेपण, नेतृत्व कौशल्याचे उदाहरण आणि कार्यकर्ता अधिकारी असण्याचे प्रमाण आहे असे म्हटले तर वावगे ठरणार नाही.
त्यांचे अनुभव, कार्य, बजावलेल्या महत्वाच्या जबाबदाऱ्या आपण सर्वानी जरूर वाचावे, अनुभवावे असे आवाहन आणि शुभेच्छा!

On the occasion of the completion of three decades (Tridashakpurti) of the Jnana Prabodhini Competitive Examination Centre, we are preparing a Good Practices Document highlighting our officers and students who are doing exemplary work in various fields.
Today, we are progressing towards the objective of a Vikasit Bharat. In line with this vision, our professional and commercial boundaries are expanding rapidly. However, while these boundaries are expanding, we are also compelled to confront serious challenges such as drugs, smuggling, unethical practices, and illegal import–export activities. To address these challenges and to make India’s trade more competitive, several government agencies are working tirelessly. One such important agency is the Customs Department.
Our next alumni is from the same department. Shri. Rahul Nangare, IRS (C&IT) – Batch of 1999.
Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Mr. Nangare has shouldered many significant responsibilities and successfully resolved several complex and challenging issues. Through his scholarly approach, he has made valuable strategic contributions to his department. At a time when people often prefer to keep their distance from Customs officers, Mr. Nangare stands out as an officer with whom people communicate easily, openly acknowledge their mistakes, and willingly take corrective action. This truly reflects the distinctiveness of his work, his leadership abilities, and his identity as a Karyakarta Adhikari (a Compassionate Officer).
