नमस्कार,
ज्ञान प्रबोधिनी स्पर्धा परीक्षा केंद्राच्या त्रिदशकपूर्तीनिमित्त विविध क्षेत्रांत उल्लेखनीय कार्य करणाऱ्या आपल्या माजी विद्यार्थ्यांचे Good Practices Document तयार करत आहोत.
स्पर्धा परीक्षेच्या प्रवासात प्रत्येक विद्यार्थ्याच्या बहुआयामी व्यक्तिमत्त्वाची कसोटी लागते. विविध विषयांचा अभ्यास, त्यातील सखोल समज यासोबतच संयम, मनोबल आणि कायम शिकत राहण्याची वृत्ती या गुणांचाही कस लागतो. मात्र हा अभ्यास आणि ही कौशल्ये केवळ परीक्षेपुरती मर्यादित राहत नाहीत; अधिकारी झाल्यानंतरही त्यांचा सातत्याने उपयोग करावा लागतो. किंबहुना, एक यशस्वी आणि प्रभावी अधिकारी होण्यासाठी हे गुण अंगीकारणे अपरिहार्य ठरते.
आपल्या या मालिकेतील पुढील लेख अशाच एका अधिकाऱ्याचा आहे. त्यांच्या प्रवासातील चढ-उतार आणि विविध टप्प्यांवर त्यांच्या अभ्यासू व्यक्तिमत्त्वाचा, संयमी स्वभावाचा आणि कायम शिकत राहण्याच्या वृत्तीचा प्रत्यय आपल्याला येतो. हे अधिकारी म्हणजे २०१० तुकडीचे IPS अधिकारी डॉ. धनंजय घनवट , जे सध्या गृह मंत्रालय, नवी दिल्ली येथे कार्यरत आहेत.
डॉ. घनवट यांनी आपल्या १५ वर्षांहून अधिकच्या कारकिर्दीत नक्षलप्रभावित भागांमध्ये काम करण्यापासून राज्याची सायबर सुरक्षा यंत्रणा उभारण्यापर्यंत अनेक महत्त्वपूर्ण जबाबदाऱ्या यशस्वीपणे पार पाडल्या आहेत. त्यांच्या या उल्लेखनीय कार्याची दखल आणि उत्कृष्ट शैक्षणिक पार्श्वभूमी यांमुळे त्यांना पुढे प्रतिष्ठेची Chevening Scholarship देखील प्राप्त झाली.
डॉ. घनवट यांच्या कार्याचे आणखी एक वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे त्यांनी नेहमीच कायद्याच्या चौकटीत राहून केवळ गुन्हेगारी कृत्यांवर नियंत्रण मिळवण्यापुरते स्वतःला मर्यादित न ठेवता, गुन्हेगारी वृत्तीमध्येही सकारात्मक बदल घडवून आणण्यासाठी विविध ठिकाणी अत्यंत मौलिक आणि परिणामकारक उपक्रम राबवले आहेत.
त्यांचा हा प्रवास, आणि कार्य आपण सर्वांनी नक्की वाचावे असे आवाहन आणि शुभेच्छा!!
