80G Tax Exemption: Refunds cannot be processed if a tax exemption certificate under Section 80G has already been issued.
Documentation Required: Any refund request must include proof of the transaction, such as a bank statement or reference number.
Processing Time: Valid refunds are typically processed within 10–15 working days.

Donors are expected to adhere to the following when contributing to Jnana Prabodhini:

Purpose-Driven Giving: Donors can specify a purpose (e.g., student sponsorship, equipment, or building fund). If no purpose is specified, funds are directed to general charitable objectives.
Nationality Verification: Donors must correctly select their nationality (Indian vs. Foreign) due to FCRA regulations. Foreign citizens must use specific bank transfer methods as mandated by the Accounts Office.
80G Deductions: Donations made to the Jnana Prabodhini Trust are eligible for a 50% deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
Service Charges: Online donations attract service charge, which donors are requested to bear to ensure the full contribution reaches the cause.
Liability: The organization is not liable for errors caused by third-party payment gateways or for inadvertent errors on the website.

Information Collection: JP collects Personal Identification Information (name, address, PAN, email) and Sensitive Personal Data (payment details) only for processing donations and issuing receipts.

Data Use: Data is used strictly for identity verification for tax purposes, donation processing, and sending newsletters or updates.
